The Republic museum houses a grand collection of artifacts from the days of it's use as the Presidential Palace between 1896 to 1954 and is one of the most culturally significant museums in the entirety of Brazil so don't miss it !
You can find the museum outside of Catete metro station. Follow the exit signs for Palacio.
